All surf lessons are taught in Mission Beach.

How do I schedule a surf lesson? 

We teach lessons daily and have several designated time slots per day. Feel free to call, text, email, or book your lesson via the website. 

 

What is the youngest child Crispy Surf Lessons teaches for surf lessons?

We teach children as young as five years old. A lot depends on the child's swimming ability and level of comfort in the water. Feel free to call us to discuss in greater detail.

 

What is the difference between surf lessons and coaching? 

Our surf lessons are best for first-time surfers or relatively new surfers who still need hands-on assistance. Our coaching lessons are designed for intermediate to advanced surfers who want to take their surfing to the next level.

Do you teach surfing year-round? 

Yes, we provide wetsuits year-round to keep you warm. 

 

What if it's raining at the time of my surf lesson? 

We will run your lesson if it is light rain, however, if it is pouring we will cancel your lesson. 

*Crispy Surf Lessons reserves the right to reschedule/cancel any lesson due to dangerous surf or weather conditions.

What is Crispy Surf Lessons cancellation policy? 

We will issue a 100% refund for cancellations with a 24-hour notice, and no refunds issued for cancellations within the 24-hour period of activity start times.

What should I bring to my surf lesson? 

Bring water, sunscreen, a towel, and beach attire. 

 

What is provided at surf lessons? 

We provide surfboards, wetsuits, and expert instruction. 

 

What are the gratuity policies?

Tipping is optional. If you have a great time and would like to tip your instructor, they are very appreciative. 

 

How do I sign the waiver?

Shortly after you book your lesson, we will send you a link via Pandadoc to complete the waiver.
